Bees & Blossoms

Bees & Blossoms

A camera in hand and a walk in Balboa Park, San Diego California. I think bees are a most fascinating creature. We are losing too many of them to errant, stupid people who use pesticides indiscriminantely. Without bees there would be no pollination. There would be no flowers. Crop dusters in Fallbrook wiped out a beekeepers hives, killing thousands of bees.

Once a year a hive of bees moves into our pine tree out by our wisteria and stays a few weeks and then moves on. If you don’t bother the bees they won’t bother you. I have been stung once in my lifetime, when I was seven. I was sitting under a lemon tree in our front yard. Be gentle friends and animals will treat you gently as well.
